Toronto Comics!Big weekend here for comics as the Toronto Comic Arts Festival takes over the reference library. This is a fantastic event filled with all manner of comic creators from arty self publishers to freaky webcomics cartoonists and die-hard graphic novelists. Freelance Blues isn't actually attending-- but you'll be able to many of our friends including the Amazing Evan Munday who provided the issue 2 splash page. He's there along with Sketchkrieg, a ragtag team of local talent. We'll also be seen hanging around the table for the Doug Wright Awards on Sunday, which will be handing out hardware to the top Canadian cartoonists Saturday night. Wanna see what it'll be like?
